Omron BP7465 10 Series Wireless Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor

Omron’s most advanced consumer blood pressure monitor. AFib Screening, TruRead auto-averaging, backlit dual display, 200-reading memory for 2 users, ComFit cuff, AC adapter included.

Our Take: The BP7465 is Omron’s everything monitor. At $99.99, you get every feature in the consumer lineup: AFib Screening with every reading, TruRead that automatically takes 3 consecutive readings and averages them (customizable 15s to 2min intervals), a backlit dual display with extra-large digits showing your current and previous reading side by side, 200-reading memory for 2 users, morning hypertension tracking, and an AC adapter in the box. The Easy-Wrap ComFit cuff inflates 360° and is more forgiving of placement than D-ring cuffs. If you’re choosing one Omron monitor and want no compromises, this is it. The only reason to look elsewhere: the BP7360 (7 Series) at $87.43 gets you AFib screening and a ComFit cuff for $12.56 less if you can live without TruRead and the dual display, or the BP7255 (5 Series) at $69.99 if you just want basic connected monitoring.

BP7465 — Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the BP7465 (10 Series) and BP7360 (7 Series)?

The BP7465 ($99.99) adds TruRead auto-averaging (takes 3 consecutive readings and averages them), a backlit dual display showing current and previous readings side by side, 200-reading memory for 2 users (vs 120 for 2), morning hypertension indicator, and an AC adapter included in the box. The BP7360 ($87.43) has AFib screening and most of the same features but lacks TruRead, dual display, and the included AC adapter. If you want the most complete measurement experience, the BP7465 is worth the $12.56 difference.

What is the difference between the BP7465 (10 Series) and BP7255 (5 Series)?

The BP7465 ($99.99) adds AFib Screening, TruRead, backlit dual display, ComFit cuff, 200-reading memory for 2 users, morning hypertension indicator, included AC adapter, and a 5-year warranty. The BP7255 ($69.99) has advanced averaging and irregular heartbeat count but no AFib screening, TruRead, or multi-user support, uses a D-ring cuff, and has a 2-year warranty.

What is the difference between the BP7465 (10 Series) and BP7150 (3 Series)?

The BP7465 ($99.99) adds AFib Screening, TruRead, advanced averaging, backlit dual display, ComFit cuff, 200-reading memory for 2 users, guest mode, morning hypertension indicator, AC adapter included, and a 5-year warranty. The BP7150 ($57.83) is Omron’s entry-level connected monitor with basic features, 14-reading memory for 1 user, a D-ring cuff, and a 2-year warranty. The BP7465 is a significant upgrade for $42.16 more.

What replacement cuffs are compatible with the Omron BP7465?

The BP7465 uses a pre-formed Easy-Wrap ComFit cuff. The replacement is the HEM-FL31-B (9″–17″). The BP7465 is NOT compatible with D-ring cuffs (HEM-RML31-B), the small D-ring cuff (HEM-CS24-B), or the extra-large cuff (HEM-RXL31-B, BP9310T only). Always verify cuff compatibility before purchasing.

Does the BP7465 include an AC adapter?

Yes. The BP7465 is the only consumer Omron upper arm monitor that includes the AC adapter (HEM-ADPTW5) in the box. All other models either don’t support AC adapters or require purchasing one separately. The monitor also runs on 4 AA batteries (included).

What is TruRead and how does it work?

TruRead is an Omron-exclusive feature that automatically takes 3 consecutive blood pressure readings and displays the average. This provides a more clinically meaningful result than a single reading, since blood pressure naturally fluctuates from moment to moment. You can customize the interval between readings from 15 seconds to 2 minutes. TruRead is only available on the BP7465 (10 Series) — no other consumer Omron upper arm monitor includes it.

Can two people use the BP7465?

Yes. The BP7465 stores 200 readings split between 2 user profiles (100 readings per user). Each user gets their own stored history. There is also a guest mode that takes a one-time reading without saving it to either profile — useful when someone else wants to check their blood pressure. The BP7360 (7 Series) also supports 2 users (120 readings, 60 per user) and guest mode. The BP7255 and BP7150 are single-user only.

Great BP machine

Great BP machine. The semi rigid cuff make it much easier to take my BP by myself and I’m super happy I can use a digital machine with my AFib condition.

What about calibration?

HeartRateMonitorsUSA.com

Omron blood pressure monitors cannot be self-calibrated by the user. Omron states that their blood pressure monitors do not require calibration, but they recommend having the device inspected for accuracy every 2 years

Why does it say on the box not to use if you have a pacemaker or defibrillator implant?

HeartRateMonitorsUSA.com

The warning on the Omron BP7465 10 Series Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor box is included as a safety precaution. This model contains electronic components and Bluetooth technology that generate small electromagnetic fields, and the manufacturer advises against use in individuals with implanted pacemakers or defibrillators due to the theoretical risk of interference. While upper arm blood pressure monitors generally do not interfere with implanted cardiac devices, Omron takes a conservative approach to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance. If you have a pacemaker or implantable defibrillator, we recommend speaking with your cardiologist or the device manufacturer before using this monitor to confirm it is appropriate for your specific situation.

I am not sure if my Omron is working properly. It has erratic numbers and ends with E or Afib…have not used it in months… my BP is usually 128/75.
Your thoughts?
Thank you!

HeartRateMonitorsUSA.com

Omron blood pressure monitors do not require routine calibration, but accuracy depends heavily on cuff size, placement, posture, and comparison with a medical-grade device. If those are correct and readings still don’t match, the device may need professional evaluation or replacement as a consumer cannot calibrate the machine themselves.

Omron Customer Service team is available Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Central Time. Please note that their call center may be closed on holidays or for company-related reasons. You may contact Customer Service at (866) 216-1333

Best to compare with your Dr's readings. If the machine seems off, it may need calibrating.
