Garmin Prop 65 Warning
Why is this warning on Garmin products?
Products with any amount of substances covered by Proposition 65 — even at levels that may not be harmful — must carry this warning unless proven to have “no significant risk” of exposure.
Since almost all electronic products contain 1 or more of the chemicals listed under Proposition 65, we added this warning on our packaging to make sure our customers stay informed.
How can I trust that your products are safe?
With Garmin products, the exposure may be well within the “no significant risk” range; however, we choose to put the Proposition 65 warning label on our products to help you make an informed purchase decision.
According to the California government, “The fact that a product bears a Proposition 65 warning does not mean by itself that the product is unsafe.”
