Garmin Lily® 2 Smartwatch
The Lily 2 is Garmin's most stylish and petite smartwatch — a 38mm fashion-forward watch that bridges the gap between stylish wearable and sport watch. It keeps the signature hidden patterned lens from the Lily 2 family: a decorative pattern printed on the glass that disappears when the touchscreen activates. Two physical side buttons make it easier to start activities and navigate during workouts. It includes Body Battery, sleep score, stress tracking, Pulse Ox, women's health tracking, 18+ sport profiles, dance fitness, and up to 5 days of battery life. The Classic edition adds Garmin Pay and premium bands.
Our Take: The Lily 2 is designed for women who want health and wellness insights without wearing a bulky sport watch. At 35mm and just 24g, it disappears on your wrist — yet tracks heart rate, sleep, stress, Body Battery, Pulse Ox, and women's health around the clock. The Classic edition adds Garmin Pay and premium leather or nylon bands. If you want built-in GPS and more sport profiles, step up to the Lily 2 Active.
Why you'd choose this model
- At just 35mm and 24g, this is the most compact Garmin smartwatch. Smaller than the Lily 2 Active (38mm), vívoactive 6 (42mm), or any Venu.
- A decorative pattern is printed on the glass. When the screen is off, Lily 2 looks like a bracelet. Tap or raise your wrist to reveal the touchscreen display underneath.
- The Classic edition adds Italian leather or nylon bands and NFC contactless Garmin Pay. The Sport edition comes with a silicone band and no Garmin Pay.
- Up to 5 days in smartwatch mode with continuous health tracking. Sleep tracking, stress, and heart rate run 24/7 without draining the battery quickly.
- Monitor your energy levels with Body Battery, get a sleep score each morning, and track stress throughout the day. Plus Pulse Ox, respiration, and hydration tracking.
- Track menstrual cycles and pregnancy. Includes exercise and nutrition education content. Morning report with sleep overview, weather, and calendar.
- Uses your phone's GPS for outdoor route tracking. Not built-in like the Lily 2 Active, but still records walks, runs, and bike rides when your phone is nearby.
- Sport edition starts at $249.99 (silicone band). Classic edition with leather band and Garmin Pay starts at $299.99. The Lily 2 Active starts at $299.99.

Who this watch is perfect for
- Women who want health and wellness tracking in the most elegant, compact Garmin possible.

You may prefer a different Garmin if…
- You want built-in GPS for phone-free route tracking — step up to the Lily 2 Active ($299.99).
- You need on-watch music storage — not available on any Lily; look at the vívoactive 6 ($299.99) or Venu 4 ($549.99).
- You want a full-color AMOLED display — the Lily 2 uses a hidden LCD. Step up to the vívoactive 6 or Venu 4.
- You need advanced training metrics (VO2 Max, Training Readiness, maps) — consider the Venu 4 or Forerunner series.
- You need physical buttons for mid-workout control — the Lily 2 is touch-only. The Lily 2 Active adds two side buttons.

Lily® 2 — Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Lily 2 and the Lily 2 Active?
The Lily 2 Active adds built-in GPS (no phone needed), two physical side buttons, Garmin Pay on all models, Garmin Coach training plans, 30+ sport profiles, HRV Status, nap detection, Health Snapshot, golf features, sensor pairing, a compass, and nearly double the battery life (9 days vs 5). The case is slightly larger at 38mm (vs 35mm) and uses Garmin's standard 4-pin charger.
Does the Lily 2 have GPS?
The Lily 2 uses Connected GPS — it borrows your paired smartphone's GPS signal to record outdoor routes. Your phone must be nearby during activities. For built-in GPS without your phone, step up to the Lily 2 Active ($299.99).
Does the Lily 2 have Garmin Pay?
Only the Classic edition ($299.99) includes Garmin Pay for NFC contactless payments. The Sport edition ($249.99) does not have NFC or Garmin Pay. The Lily 2 Active and vívoactive 6 include Garmin Pay on all models.
How long does the Lily 2 battery last?
Up to 5 days in smartwatch mode with 24/7 heart rate, sleep, stress, and Body Battery tracking. There is no always-on display. The Lily 2 Active lasts up to 9 days.
Does the Lily 2 have music storage?
No. The Lily 2 can control music playback on your paired phone, but no Lily model stores music on the watch. For on-watch music, consider the vívoactive 6 ($299.99) or Venu 4 ($549.99).
What colors does the Lily 2 come in?
Four options across two editions. Sport ($249.99): Cream Gold with Coconut silicone, or Metallic Lilac with Lilac silicone. Classic ($299.99): Cream Gold with Coconut leather, or Dark Bronze with Mulberry leather. The Classic adds Garmin Pay and premium band materials.
Is the Lily 2 good for working out?
Yes, for casual fitness. It tracks walks, runs, yoga, HIIT, strength, swimming, Pilates, and dance fitness with 18+ sport profiles. Outdoor routes use your phone's GPS. For built-in GPS, Garmin Coach, and 30+ profiles, step up to the Lily 2 Active.
