Garmin Powered Mount for GPSMAP® H1 & H1i Plus
Powered quick-release cradle for GPSMAP® H1 and H1i Plus handhelds. AMPS mounting pattern. Integrated USB-C power cable. One-handed grab-and-go operation. Mounting kit not included. Available as Powered Mount ($69.99) or Powered Mount with Suction Cup ($129.99).
Our Take: This is the cleanest way to keep your GPSMAP H1 or H1i Plus powered and instantly accessible in a vehicle, boat, UTV, or equipment cab. The quick-release cradle is designed for one-handed operation — pop the handheld out when you leave the vehicle, click it back in when you return, and the USB-C connection supplies power automatically while docked. No fumbling with cables, no tools, no clips to fiddle with. The AMPS mounting pattern means it works with RAM mounts and most popular third-party mounting systems, so you can build the installation that matches your setup — whether that's a dashboard plate, handlebar bracket, marine console, or UTV roll cage. The integrated USB-C cable keeps wiring clean and eliminates the tangle of separate charging cables. For windshield mounting, the Suction Cup version ($129.99) adds a suction cup base so you can attach directly to glass or any smooth flat surface without buying additional hardware. If you already have a RAM mount or AMPS plate in your vehicle, the standard Powered Mount ($69.99) is all you need. Important: this mount uses the new Spine Mount 2 system specific to the H1 series. Older GPSMAP powered mounts (designed for the 67, 66i, etc.) will not fit the H1 or H1i Plus. If you're upgrading from an older GPSMAP, you'll need this new mount.
Why you'd choose this powered mount
- Designed for fast grab-and-go use. Press the release and lift the GPSMAP out with one hand — no tools, no cable disconnection. Click it back in and the electrical contact re-engages automatically. Built for the real-world rhythm of hopping in and out of vehicles, switching between mounted and handheld use throughout the day.
- The powered cradle supplies power to your GPSMAP H1 or H1i Plus through the integrated USB-C cable while it's docked. Connect the cable to your vehicle's DC power source or USB outlet and the handheld stays charged during long drives, boat runs, or all-day field use — no battery drain while navigating.
- The power cable is built into the mount, reducing clutter and simplifying installation. Route the single USB-C lead to your power source and the wiring is done. No separate charging cables hanging off the dashboard, no adapters, no splitters.
- The standard AMPS 4-hole rectangular pattern is compatible with RAM mounts, Arkon, and many third-party mount systems. This gives you flexibility to mount on dashboards, flat plates, marine consoles, UTV roll cages, handlebar brackets, and more. Match the mount hardware to your specific vehicle or vessel.
- The cradle is designed specifically for the GPSMAP H1 series form factor and Spine Mount 2 system. It holds the handheld securely with consistent electrical contact and proper alignment. Not compatible with older GPSMAP models (67, 67i, 66i, 86, etc.) — those devices use a different mounting system.
- The Powered Mount with Suction Cup (010-13351-06, $129.99) adds a suction cup base for direct attachment to windshields and smooth flat surfaces — no additional mount hardware needed. Ideal for rental vehicles, temporary installations, or setups where you don't want to drill holes or install a permanent mount.

Powered Mount — Frequently Asked Questions
What devices are compatible with this mount?
The Garmin GPSMAP H1 and GPSMAP H1i Plus. It is not compatible with older GPSMAP models (67, 67i, 66i, 86, etc.) — the H1 series uses the new Spine Mount 2 system.
What is the difference between the two versions?
The Powered Mount (010-13351-03, $69.99) is the cradle only with an integrated USB-C cable. It uses the AMPS mounting pattern and requires your own mount hardware (RAM mount, flat plate, etc.). The Powered Mount with Suction Cup (010-13351-06, $129.99) includes a suction cup base for direct attachment to a windshield or smooth flat surface — no additional hardware needed.
Does it include a mounting kit?
The standard Powered Mount does NOT include mounting hardware — you need an AMPS-compatible mount system. The Suction Cup version includes its own suction cup base. For handlebar or bracket mounting, the Garmin 010-10962-10 RAM mount kit is a compatible option.
What mounting pattern does it use?
AMPS — a standard 4-hole rectangular pattern widely used by RAM, Arkon, and many aftermarket mount systems. If your vehicle already has a RAM mount with an AMPS plate, this cradle bolts right on.
Does it charge the device while mounted?
Yes. The integrated USB-C cable provides continuous power to the GPSMAP H1 or H1i Plus while seated in the cradle. Connect the cable to a DC vehicle power source or USB outlet for uninterrupted operation during navigation.
Can I remove the device with one hand?
Yes. The mount is designed for one-handed quick-release operation — press the release mechanism and lift the handheld out. No tools or cable disconnection required. Click it back in and the electrical contact re-engages automatically.
Will older GPSMAP powered mounts work with the H1?
No. The GPSMAP H1 series uses the new Spine Mount 2 system, which is physically different from earlier Garmin mount interfaces. If you're upgrading from a GPSMAP 67, 67i, 66i, or 86, you'll need this H1-specific powered mount.
What RAM mount kit works with this?
Any RAM mount solution that accepts a standard AMPS plate. The Garmin 010-10962-10 RAM mount kit is designed for handlebar and clutch/brake reservoir bracket mounting. Many aftermarket RAM kits with AMPS patterns will also work — match the mount to your specific vehicle, boat, or UTV setup.
