Thermophore Moist Heating Pad Units are one of the most popular sources of therapeutic heat in the home. These Battle Creek heating pads are moist safe and convenient. Available in 4 sizes. Moist heat is more effective than dry heat because moisture transmits heat better than air. The Battle Creek Thermophore Heating Pad has an outer fleece blend cover that draws humidity from the air and retains it. Then when the heat is turned on the moisture is forced out of the fleece blend and onto the treated area.

Wanted to love it. Disappointed.

After enjoying a succession of 5-6 full size Thermaphore daily for 35 years, I purchased this mini for travel. The switch is hand held vs newer kind you click on for 5 minutes. That’d be okay but switch piece is bulky, unwieldily, not ergonomic. My hand shook with effort to hold button down for 2 minutes. Tried for 5 days. Disappointed & frustrated. Sadly, will return item. Gave generous 2 stars because it’s a great company and less would feel rude.

I have an older one in a different state that gets much hotter, so I would rather have the extra heat. Delivery was great, company great to deal with, I think government regulations messed it up.
