Omron HEM-RXL31-B Extra-Large Upper Arm D-Ring Cuff – BP9310T Compatible Only
Genuine Omron extra-large replacement cuff for the BP9310T blood pressure monitor. D-ring design for easier self-wrapping. Fits upper arm circumference 17″–20″ (42–50 cm). Not compatible with any other Omron model. $52.99.
Our Take: If you own the Omron BP9310T and the included cuff doesn't fit comfortably — or you need a second cuff for a household member with larger arms — the HEM-RXL31-B is the only genuine Omron extra-large option designed for this monitor. Cuff fit is the single biggest variable in home blood pressure accuracy; a cuff that's too small compresses unevenly and inflates higher readings. The D-ring design makes it notably easier to wrap on your own upper arm one-handed, which matters when you're taking readings daily. At $52.99 it's a meaningful investment, but considering the BP9310T itself costs several hundred dollars, using the right cuff protects the value of the entire system.
Why you'd choose the HEM-RXL31-B
-
Designed for upper arm circumference of 17 to 20 inches (42–50 cm). If your arm exceeds the standard cuff range or the included cuff feels tight, this extra-large cuff ensures proper bladder coverage for accurate readings.
-
The D-ring lets you thread the cuff through a ring and pull snug with one hand. This is easier than wrapping a pre-formed cuff, especially on larger arms or for users with limited dexterity. Consistent placement improves reading repeatability.
-
OEM Omron cuff with the correct air connector, bladder dimensions, and inflation characteristics for the BP9310T. Third-party cuffs may use different connectors or bladder sizes that affect measurement accuracy.
-
An undersized cuff is one of the most common causes of falsely elevated blood pressure readings at home. Using the correct cuff size ensures the bladder covers the recommended 80% of arm circumference, which is essential for accurate oscillometric measurement.
-
Not made with natural rubber latex. Soft, contoured nylon construction is comfortable for daily monitoring sessions. The cuff is designed for repeated use over the manufacturer's warranty period.
-
Omron warrants this cuff to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from date of purchase when used according to instructions. Warranty extends to original retail purchaser only.
Compatible Blood Pressure Monitor
⚠ BP9310T ONLY. This cuff is compatible exclusively with the Omron BP9310T blood pressure monitor. It will not work with any other Omron model. Check the model number printed on the bottom or back of your monitor before ordering.
Not compatible with: BP5000, BP5150, BP5250, BP5350, BP5450, BP7150, BP7200, BP7250, BP7255, BP7350, BP7450, BP7900, or any other Omron 3 Series, 5 Series, 7 Series, or 10 Series monitor. If you own one of those models, you need a different Omron cuff — browse our blood pressure cuffs collection or call us for help.
Who this cuff is ideal for
- BP9310T owners with larger arms who find the included standard cuff too tight or uncomfortable.
- Households sharing a BP9310T where one member has larger arms and needs a dedicated cuff.
- Users who want more accurate readings — an undersized cuff is the most common source of falsely high home blood pressure results.
- Users with limited dexterity who find the D-ring design easier to wrap one-handed than a pre-formed cuff.
You may prefer a different cuff if…
- Your monitor is not the BP9310T — Omron cuffs are model-specific. The HEM-RML31-B (9″–17″) fits other models like BP5350, BP5450, BP7200, BP7250, and BP7900.
- Your arm circumference is under 17 inches — you need a standard or wide-range cuff instead of extra-large.
- You're looking for a universal cuff that fits multiple brands — Omron cuffs use a proprietary air connector and are not interchangeable across brands.
- You need a complete blood pressure monitor (not just a cuff) — browse our blood pressure monitors collection.

HEM-RXL31-B — Frequently Asked Questions
Which Omron monitors is this cuff compatible with?
The HEM-RXL31-B is compatible only with the Omron BP9310T blood pressure monitor. It uses a specific air connector and bladder size designed for that model. It will not work with any other Omron monitor, including the BP5000, BP5250, BP5350, BP5450, BP7150, BP7200, BP7250, BP7350, BP7450, BP7900, or any other 3/5/7/10 Series unit. Always check the model number on the bottom of your monitor before ordering.
What arm size does this cuff fit?
This extra-large cuff fits upper arm circumference of 17 to 20 inches (42 to 50 cm). To measure, wrap a cloth tape measure around your left upper arm midway between your shoulder and elbow while your arm is relaxed. If your arm is under 17 inches, you need a standard or wide-range cuff instead.
What is a D-ring cuff and how does it work?
A D-ring cuff has a metal or plastic ring sewn into one end. You thread the tail of the cuff through the ring, then pull to tighten around your arm. This makes it easier to apply the cuff to your own arm with one hand, which is especially helpful for users with limited dexterity or for wrapping larger arms where pre-formed cuffs may not shape well.
Why does cuff size matter for blood pressure accuracy?
An undersized cuff is one of the most common causes of inaccurately high blood pressure readings at home. When the cuff bladder doesn't cover enough of the arm circumference, the monitor has to inflate to higher pressures to compress the artery, which skews the oscillometric measurement. Clinical guidelines recommend the bladder cover at least 80% of the arm circumference. Using the correct size ensures consistent, reliable readings.
Is this cuff latex-free?
Yes. Omron home blood pressure cuffs, including the HEM-RXL31-B, are not made with natural rubber latex.
Can I use this cuff with my BP7200, BP7250, or BP7900?
No. The HEM-RXL31-B is designed exclusively for the BP9310T. For the BP7200, BP7250, and BP7900, the compatible wide-range cuff is the HEM-RML31-B (fits 9″–17″ arms). Omron cuffs use model-specific connectors and are not interchangeable. Browse our blood pressure cuffs collection or call us at 1-800-403-8285 for help finding the right cuff.
Does this include the blood pressure monitor?
No. This is the replacement cuff only. The Omron BP9310T monitor is sold separately. If you need a complete blood pressure monitor, browse our blood pressure monitors collection.
How do I know if I need a new cuff?
Replace your cuff if: the Velcro no longer holds securely during inflation, you hear air leaking from the cuff or connector during measurement, the fabric is cracked or torn, readings have become inconsistent despite following proper technique, or you've been using a cuff that's the wrong size for your arm.
How should I care for this cuff?
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after use. Do not machine wash, submerge in water, bleach, or dry clean. Store rolled loosely (not folded) in a cool, dry place. Tight folding can crack the internal bladder over time.
What's the warranty?
Omron warrants this cuff to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from date of purchase, when used in accordance with the included instructions. The warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser. Omron will replace any defective cuff at no charge during the warranty period.
