Why Thermophore?
To make the Thermophore Heating Pads more efficient, we have positioned weights to cause the Thermophore® packs to conform to body contours. This reduces air spaces between the Thermophore® hot pack and body, so more heat is transmitted to the body tissues. My oral surgeon recommended in 2004 to use the 4"x17" Thermophore heating pad due to my TMJ disorder. I have been using this product on a daily basis, up to 5+ times per day, and it's the best heating pad I've ever experienced. The soft outer layer is very comfortable and the heat helps to calm down my TMJ issues. Also, I use the heating pad for my neck as I sprained my neck on a trampoline in 1973 and the heating pad works very well for that area. And, I use the heating pad to drape over one shoulder at a time to ease tension in my shoulders
I haven't used it. Unfortunately, then neck wrap is a tad short for my neck. It was my fault. I didn't check the size when I purchased it.
Doesn’t get hot or moist enough. Nothing like my other thermaphore heating pad
I needed a heating pad to soothe my sore neck and this is exactly what I wanted. Great service and a great product.
Switch did not work
This pad seems well made, but it barely gets warm. Not hot at all! I researched for a pad that gets hot and Thermophore was always suggested. I am very disappointed and the product can’t be returned which I knew, but it definitely feels like a waste of money. I’m glad I went with a neck heating pad first before wasting my money on a larger one.

I purchased this heating pad for my neck. Because it creates moisture it absolutely has helped my neck. I also like the 20 min. timed feature. If I wasn’t to use it another 20 min. I can, although my Physical Therapist only recommends using the heating pad at 20 min. at a time. But I could use it several times in a day. Highly recommend.
Didn’t heat up. Return policy doesn’t allow heatingmpads to be returned so threw $40 in the trash. Learned lesson, buy from Amazon so items can be returned.

This feels great on my neck. It Velcro’s tight, which really helps penetrate the heat right where I need it. It also has a really long cord so I can use it almost anywhere.

I bought this heating pad Model 177 after reading reviews and recommendations for quality. My wife uses it for her shoulder arthritis pain and SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES THE PAD! The size and flexibility work well for her shoulder. The Velcro is sometimes used to hold it in place, sometimes not. She also loves the long cord and adjustable heat settings.
I have the large one and love it so I thought the neck size would be great, its just not. sorry!
Faulty product and almost impossoble to reach your company. Would never buy from you again.

Ive had a large thermophore for years and needed the smaller one for my throat. Really it's the BEST heating pad on the market!!

I have been using this pad to relax my tense neck muscles. I like the shape, which fits well around my neck. I like the long velcro strap closure, which makes snug fitting easy. What I don't like is the temperature control. The heat is either on or off. It is generally way too hot, so every minute or two I have to adjust the temperature the only way available--by manually putting the heat on hold with a "pause" button. This is VERY TEDIOUS. Why does this heating pad not have at least a couple more heat settings, especially lower ones? There's got to be a better way.
