A Day And Time To Remember
Tomorrow, June 6th. 2019, marks the 75th Anniversary of D-Day, June 6th, 1944. A day when combined troops of the Allied Armies stormed the coast of France and staged an enormous assault on German positions, overlooking the beaches of Normandy. Codenamed Operation 'Overlord', the Allied landings on the Normandy beaches marked the start of a long and costly campaign to liberate north-west Europe from German occupation.
What’s so special about it this year is that this will probably be the last great gathering of WWII veterans living, taking part in various ceremonies commemorating this historic event.
Because of this momentous occasion happening, we at HeartRateMonitorsUSA.com would like to provide you with a link that shares some of our veterans’ memories on what led up to and what transpired to them, during this time in our nation’s D-Day-75th Anniversary Interviews history.
Please join with us as we honor those who served in that Great Undertaking and those who continue to serve our country today! Our Veterans and Active duty members of our armed forces, who take the time out of their own lives to serve and protect, the United States of America all around the Globe.
Thank you to All who have served!
