Here are 7 Items to Use for your Fall Workout

Posted on September 29, 2015 by Beth Hartman
With fall now showing it's beautiful little face, we have to get in gear for the season. Of course, some of the same gear that you use to train in sinter or summer would not suffice for the fall season. Whether you're a runner, cyclist, weight trainer, or all of the above, I'm sure there is something you should change. Here are 7 Items to Use for your Fall Workout:

Fitbit Surge Fitness Superwatch
Fitbit says that "the Surge Superwatch will be the only activity monitor you will ever use." Surge features a built in GPS and Heart Rate Monitor, allowing you to not only know where you are but how you are doing while getting there. Surge has also been tested up to 5 ATM, making it is sweat, rain and splash proof. However, the device is not swim proof. We also recommend taking Surge off before showering because, as with any wearable device, it’s best for your skin if the band stays dry and clean.

Camelbak Bootlegger 50oz Hydration Pack
Need to carry your hydration in stealth mode? The Bootlegger keeps 1.5 liters of water (or maybe something more fortifying) tucked away under your jacket with the ultimate low-profile design. It’s a cold-weather version of a hydration vest, with extra-light, breathable materials and two sternum straps for a secure, bounce-free fit, plus an insulated drink tube to keep your water from freezing in cold temperatures.

Red Ledge Unisex Thunderlight Rain Jacket
Waterproof and durable, the Red Ledge Thunderlight Jacket is a good option for budget-conscious hikers and backpackers seeking reliable protection from wet or windy weather at an affordable price. Weighing an average of 13.6 ounces, the Thunderlight Jacket uses a rip-stop nylon shell and offers protection from rain and wind using Red Ledge's T-Core polyurethane coating. One-hundred percent taped seams and an interior storm flap with a water resistant zipper keep the wearer dry and an attached hood with visor and adjustable draw cords allows for a snug fit around the face and sheds heavy rain. The Thunderlight jacket has a caped back yoke and two zip front pockets with mesh back lining to help with ventilation.

SPIBelt Runners Belt - Water Resistant with Gel Loops
The SPIbelt with Water-Resistant Pocket features a special, water-resistant lining that is incorporated into the pocket's fabric, which adds an extra level of protection over our Original SPIbelt. In addition, this SPIbelt comes with six energy gel loops for long-run nutrition.

Camelbak Delaney 21oz Podium Chill Bottle
The waist-mounted hydration keeps weight low on your body for more stability, and the Podium Chill bottle keeps your drink cold from start to finish, with 100% BPA-free TruTaste material that won’t leave a funky aftertaste. The essentials pocket is just big enough for the basics: phone, keys, cash and snacks, and the pack features front and back reflectivity for added visibility.

Proviz High Visibility Running Gear
The Proviz REFLECT360 running jacket is designed to be a sleek, great looking and functional. The reflective detailing is designed to help you stand out when on the roads during hours of darkness or poor light. To help runners keep their body temperature at an optimum level the REFLECT360 running jacket has perforated panelling on the back and under the arms to allow excess heat to escape. The front pocket is designed to house among other items your MP3 players and has a headphone socket to keep wires inside the jacket at all times.

Garmin Edge 500 GPS Super Cycling Computer
You will be happy with your Garmin Edge 500. Not only because of the wide range of data accumulation you will be getting but also because it can track your location and elevation with high sensitivity GPS. Add an ANT+ compatible heart rate monitor, speed/cadence sensor or compatible power meter for a finely-tuned analysis of your ride.
