Monitor your pedaling cadence as you ride with this self-calibrating, wireless speed/cadence sensor. It measures and reports your pedaling strokes per minute, providing feedback for optimal performance.
*Note: If using with a Colorado or Oregon series, the GSC10 only will report cadence.
Question: What type of battery does the GSC10 cadence sensor use?
Answer:
The GSC10 cadence sensor uses a standard 3 volt CR2032 battery.
Question: Can I upload data from a Garmin heart rate monitor or GSC10 speed/cadence sensor from my Colorado to Garmin Training Center or Garmin connect?
Answer:
Colorado supports real time display from these devices, plus heart rate and cadence data is saved in the track log. Currently, Garmin Connect does not support charting of this data but it is logged in each individual track point and can be viewed under track properties in MapSource.
In the future Garmin Connect will accept heart rate and cadence data from Colorado to analyze from a fitness standpoint. Garmin Training Center will not work with the Colorado
Question: I have replaced the battery in my GSC10 cadence sensor and it doesn’t work. Why is this?
Answer:
When replacing a battery in the GSC10 it is necessary to remove the old battery and wait for at least one minute before inserting the new battery, this allows the GSC10 to discharge completely and reset itself. After you have inserted the battery it may be necessary to rescan for the sensor.
