How Do I Clean my Camelbak?

No other hydration company places as much of an emphasis on keeping your reservoir clean as we do. We offer the following guidelines for taking care of your CamelBak: (Camelbak Cleaning Kit Needed)

1. Fill reservoir with warm water and mild soap.

2. Clean with Reservoir Brush and Tube Brush.

3. Re-fill reservoir with 1 L of water.

4. Add 1 Cleaning Tablet

How does the warranty work?

Warranty Information
CamelBak Products, LLC Warranty Policy:

CamelBak Products, LLC provides a limited warranty for its products with regard to manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, combat or tactical usage, improper care and cleaning, or negligence. The warranty is also limited to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. Military personnel will be considered the original purchaser of the product, provided the product is new when issued, and the date of issue will be considered the original purchase date.

Backpacks, Bottles, and Accessories:

CamelBak Products, LLC covers backpacks, bottles, and accessories for a period of two years from the original purchase date. CamelBak will provide replacement parts or exchange the defective product at its discretion. The user is responsible for shipping the defective product to CamelBak.

Omega™ Reservoirs:

CamelBak Products, LLC warrants Omega™ HydroTanium™ and Omega™ Max Gear™ Water Beast™ Reservoirs for the lifetime of the product. All other CamelBak reservoirs are covered by a separate, two-year limited warranty. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, combat or tactical usage, improper care and cleaning, or negligence.

Please contact our warranty department with any questions or concerns. Return shipments must be prepaid and insured. CamelBak cannot be liable for lost in-bound packages. California State Law requires products be clean for warranty evaluation. If the warranty claim is determined to be valid, the product will be replaced at CamelBak’s expense within 10 to 15 business days.

Warranty Service, International:

Please direct your warranty inquiries to your local retailer. If the dealer no longer exists, please contact the authorized CamelBak distributor in your area.

Repairs:

CamelBak Products, LLC does not have a repair facility. If your product is no longer covered by our warranty, please take it to a local fabric store, hardware store, or seamstress for a recommendation.

Refunds and Exchanges:

CamelBak Products, LLC will not offer refunds or exchanges on any products, with the exception of glove size exchanges listed above. Refunds and exchanges must be handled through your retailer or distributor.
